When Hooker and Stacy take Hooker's children for a trip to the beach, a minor fire distracts Hooker long enough for Chrissie to disappear. She has been kidnapped by bitter ex-cop Marty Latham, who was struck from the force and ultimately sentenced to prison after becoming involved with The Mob. Latham will only return Chrissie if Hooker finds the whereabouts of his family, who cut contact with him and disappeared while he was serving time...

While Hooker is investigating a violent supermarket robbery, his father, himself a retired police officer, arrives unexpectedly. Hooker is surprised at sudden arrival, and his father, who is in somewhat shaky health, ends up helping track down the supermarket robbery gang – but the one last case has a deadly outcome for the senior Hooker...

After an off-duty Officer is shot dead in a grocery store, Hooker – an old friend of the family's – promises the dead man's wife and son to find the culprit. A case in which the deceased Officer's partner sent a criminal to prison on a false testimony may be the key to the killing; but all the time, the killer has his next target in his sights... Meanwhile, Hooker looks into the recent murder of a local prostitute, only to discover that the two cases are linked...

A 17-year-old girl is killed in a struggle during the filming of a porn movie, and when her dumped body is found, it turns out to be the niece of Hooker's colleague, Detective Max Brodsky. Hooker takes charge of the case, with Stacy going undercover as a potential porn star to get inside the production company; but Brodsky's obsession with nailing the killers himself jeopardises the whole investigation...

The State Department asks Hooker's help in tracking down a man whom he served alongside in Vietnam - a disillusioned, mentally unstable trained executioner – who is planning to assassinate the head of a visiting Russian trade delegation...

Hooker becomes involved in an F.B.I. drug bust operation, a ""sting"" which leaves an undercover Detective critical in hospital, and the drug ring's middle man shot dead by the front man, who walks away with the $100,000 sting money. With the ploy following the same pattern as several previous identical ""rip-offs"", Hooker and a Federal agent join forces to put a halt to the big-time drug runner's scam, but their methods in putting the racket out of business clash...

When Hooker, Stacy and Corrigan aid in the stake-out of a money counterfeiting operation, Corrigan accidentally shoots dead an informant in the crossfire, while the head of the ring escapes. The shooting leaves a remorseful Corrigan questioning his choice of career, something that deepens even more when he is later forced to shoot a man involved with the counterfeiting ring who takes a hostage. The two fatal shootings leave the veteran Officer seriously considering leaving the force and taking a job offered to him by the woman he may choose to spend the rest of his life with. As the hunt for the counterfeiters continues, Hooker and Stacy try to convince him otherwise...

Arriving at the scene of the brutal murder of a college girl, Hooker recognises the method of murder as used by a serial killer dubbed ""The Night Ripper"", who was behind a spree of six grisly sex murders four years previously and was never caught. With the psychotic killer terrorising the city once more, Hooker is under pressure to uncover his identity and get him off the streets...

Corrigan and Stacy respond to a seemingly trivial call about an illegally parked vehicle, only to stumble onto an armed robbery of a check-cashing outlet. As Corrigan calls for back-up, Stacy intervenes in the robbery to stop a man from being shot, only to taken hostage by the trio of armed thieves. With Stacy held prisoner by the robbers, the head of the trio rapidly develops an ""obsession"" for her, much to the aggravation of his girl-friend, who is also one of the theives. As Hooker and Corrigan search for Stacy and the thieves, they risk taking on the might of City Hall when it becomes apparent that the father of one of the trio is involved in the Mayor's re-election campaign and is prepared to pull strings to keep the whole case quiet. Meanwhile, the trio's leader's obsession with Stacy continues to grow – and it is the only thing that is keeping her from being killed...

The pursuit and capture of a criminal reunites Hooker with Officer Karen Remy, whom have previously been romantically involved with each other, but soon after, Hooker is informed that Karen is dead after being shot in her car. With the murder having signs of being a professional hit, Hooker becomes determined to find the person responsible, and his prime suspect is Karen's Police partner. His disobeying orders by continuing to probe the killing sees Hooker suspended, but that's not enough for him to give up the hunt – but is there more to the case than he knows?...

Pursuing a gang of robbers, Stacy receives a mild concussion in a shoot-out, and after being discharged from hospital, decides to take a break to go and visit her sister. But driving through a fierce thunderstorm and still in a slightly dazed state, she is involved in a minor road accident which leaves her with amnesia, and is taken in by a passing motorist who claims to be a local doctor. Meanwhile, Hooker and Corrigan become concerned at Stacy's sudden disappearance, and investigate a break out from a mental hospital where two dangerous patients have escaped - and unbeknown to them, one of the escapees is the man posing as the doctor who has taken in Stacy...

Hooker, Corrigan and Stacy are working undercover on a pimp sting when they respond to an armed robbery alert at a nearby bank, and the ensuing shootout as the robbers escape sees an Officer fatally wounded and dying in Stacy's arms. The hunt is on for the murderous gang, who are already putting their next bank robbery plan into motion, but Stacy's performance begins to suffer as she is over-come by fear that she will be the gang's next victim...

When a female attorney is murdered by a shotgun-wielding killer, the third woman attorney to be killed in similar such fashion, Hooker, Stacy and Corrigan search out the killer - who is actually a man who's become embittered after his girlfriend was deemed mentally unstable and dropped from attorney school...

While in pursuit of a pair of burglars who brutally attack anyone who interrupts their robberies, Corrigan pulls unconscious Stacy from their patrol car when it crashes, moments before it explodes. With the hunt on for the violent thieves, Stacy and Corrigan's ordeal brings them much closer together than ever before– something that begins to affect their working relationship, and sees Hooker injured due to their distracted states...

A friendly LCPD baseball game is interupted by a shooting, when a passing man, out for a walk with his daughter, is shot in an attempted execution. The wounded man is none other than Russ Paterno, a retired mobster who is now an informant and has been helping the F.B.I. With the valuable information Paterno continues provide them, the Feds are eager to keep him alive, and ask Hooker make sure no harm comes to him. Behind the shooting, and several similar executions, is a militant, right-wing paramilitary group called P.F.A.D.W. - ""People For A Decent World"", who's maniacal leader is determined to wipe out any and every individual he sees as responsible for bringing the world down...

Hooker is delivering a captured criminal to the Federal court building when he meets Senator Grayle, an old friend; when a bomb intended kill the Senator explode. With Hooker having saved the Senator's life, himself, Stacy and Corrigan at the Senator's request travel to Honolulu, Hawaii, to work with the local Police department there and protect the Senator and his wife from the ruthless gangsters out to assassinate him. But in his time protecting the Senator, Hooker finds that he does not approve with many of his old friend's ways and methods; and it's a tangled web leading to finding just who is behind the threats...

In the conclusion of this feature-length / two-part story, with Howie Kalanuma murdered, Hooker becomes even more determined to find the gang behind the threats on Senator Grayle and his wife...

During a stake-out, Hooker is forced to shoot a hired hit-man, unable to learn who he was hired to kill. Soon after, an armed robbery at an airport cargo depot leaves security guard Bill Kennedy, an ex-Officer, fatally shot. Stacy had previously met the kindly Bill through his blind son Steve, leaving herself, Hooker and Corrigan determined to find whoever pulled the trigger. But their investigations suggest that the hit-man and Bill's killing were linked, and that the whole thing seems to be connected to the Mob – and Steve is next on the hit list...

After Corrigan drops Detective O'Brien's niece Jennifer off at a jewellery store to buy a gift for her uncle's 25th anniversary in the force, the store is hit by a pair of armed robbers, and in the robbery Jennifer is gunned down. With the only lead being the hi-tech gun used by one of the thieves, Corrigan feels responsible for Jennifer's death, and the investigation is hampered by a television news reporter eager for a story. Meanwhile, one of the murderous robbers gets a taste for the fame that the shooting brings him, and plans to make a play for the determined reporter...
