After a tragedy unfolds over the summer, a high school is now left having to grieve its way back to normalcy. That is until a familiar classmate Damon, returns to school. Damon’s return rips off the band-aid for many and forces his fellow classmates to discover pieces of the truth. Damon a once-beloved classmate has to navigate himself back to school and face the harsh aftermath of a completely different school atmosphere. The course of the film tackles many important issues such as suicide prevention, mental health and many forms of bullying, while showcasing many real life obstacles that the attendees at Simon A. Sanchez High School have to undergo. Will the school come together this time in order to prevent a similar tragedy from happening again?
