Jayden Amir Watkins is an American Christian author, motivational speaker, licensed minister, podcast host, playwright, producer, and visionary. Jayden was born on April 25th, 2008 in Henderson, North Carolina to Yamlet Foster and Eric Watkins along with his twin sister, Jaydah Watkins. Jayden is a member of Big Ruin Creek Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Burwell. Jayden released his debut book“Higher Heights: The Past Is Behind Me And The Future Is Before Me” in 2021. Higher Heights is a 40-day devotional book about not allowing your past to hinder you from your future. Jayden’s debut book reached the Top 5 in the category of New Releases in Teen & Young Adult Christian Devotionals & Prayer on Amazon. Jayden is the host and producer of The Preferable Podcast which he founded in March 2020. The Preferable Podcast's mission is to inspire individuals to build beloved communities by embracing their God-given talents and gifts to make the world a better place. This past April, Jayden became the youngest long-running Christian podcast host of all time in the category of Religion & Spirituality on all major podcasting platforms. Jayden started public speaking at the tender age of 9 in August 2017 at a church in his hometown. Now he travels to schools, churches, and a variety of events to spread positivity and the good news of Jesus Christ. Jayden’s leading scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 NIV which states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
